I’m Jan and I am Silver Bucket. I design and create handcrafted, contemporary sterling silver jewellery. Making jewellery brings me joy — and I hope wearing it brings the same to you.
My pieces are affordable luxury: distinctive, stylish, individual, and bespoke. Every item is handmade using high‑quality components and recycled sterling silver, carefully polished to a beautiful finish.
Silver is at the heart of my work. Each piece is thoughtfully cut, shaped, textured, and refined. Occasionally I incorporate semi‑precious stones, handmade glass/lampwork beads (including Murano‑style glass), or other complementary materials — but silver always takes centre stage.
My jewellery makes a thoughtful and meaningful gift. Whether it’s for you, a loved one, or a friend, I offer a complete gifting service with boxes, bags, tags, and delivery as needed.
So who am I?
I’m a self‑taught jewellery maker who began nearly 20 years ago, driven by a love of silver jewellery — and an ever‑growing personal collection. I initially made pieces for myself, and then as gifts for family and friends. Before long, strangers began commenting on the jewellery I wore, and I realised I might be able to spend more of my time doing what I love — and that others might enjoy my creations too.
Since then, customers have bought my jewellery both for themselves and as gifts for the special people in their lives. This is what I truly love: helping someone find, or even design, a piece they feel connected to.
Commissions are my favourite part of the process. Collaborating with customers to understand what they envision, creating a design that brings those ideas to life, and turning that design into a finished piece — this doesn’t feel like work at all. It’s a joy.
